The times, they are changing! Having gained a reputation as a reliable force and forward-thinking platform for Public Art during its five year existence in Berlin, OPEN WALLS Gallery is proudly approaching its next evolutionary step as both, curator and arts dealer, by relocating its space right in the center of the (un)official gallery district of Berlin - equipped with the sustainability to not only escort the existing artist roster through its progression, but to embrace the opportunity to work together with new talents and increase our reach.

The times, they are changing, indeed! What once was subversive has turned into modern folklore. These days, where everything that the public understands as street art has been deeply absorbed and adopted by the mainstream, the trick is not necessarily to show how inventive or imaginative you are, but how much you can notice what you’re already part of. As OPEN WALLS Gallery we understand ourselves as an incubator for artists, and a catalyst for those with a strong affinity to the streets, who have already figured out that this medium is just one mosaic piece of a bigger picture. We love to break the fourth wall and develop a real relationship with the artists we’re representing - not elaborately searching for new talent, but carefully observing our own environment for relevance.

OPEN WALLS is a unique and internationally renowned gallery space that focuses on Public Art. In addition to our actual commitment as a gallery, we offer services such as guided gallery tours and street art tours, as well as workshops and art consulting.

Guillaume Trotin and Elodie Bellanger are the French couple behind the OPEN WALLS idea. Former joint curators of the renowned West Berlin Gallery and the infamous Stattbad Wedding, they started OPEN WALLS in 2012 and both have a strong passion for further developing the terms and ideologies of Public Art, and have an in-depth knowledge of every artist they represent. They also openly encourage discussion and advice with anyone seeking further guidance in this field in regards to acquisitions and collections.

In addition to our website, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram where you can see many images of the artists we represent.
